European Cockpit Association

ECA is the European association of professional airline pilots. ECA has a multinational motivated team of 11 staff members based in Brussels working for and with pilots in Europe (visit www.eurocockpit.be).

We are looking for a Communications & events intern for the period May/ June until mid-Oct 2024

Requirements:

  • Communications, languages or similar degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Social media management & website management skills
  • Organized and eye for detail
  • Good IT skills
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator is a big plus
  • Event organizing skills or experience
  • Basic knowledge of EU Institutions and the Brussels environment is a plus
  • Interest in EU politics is a plus

 

Key tasks:

  • Support communications team in developing content & social media management
  • Plan and organize an event in October with the support of policy officers and communications manager

The event will require:

  • Planning
  • Liaising with providers and caterers
  • Invitations & follow up
  • Mapping interested participants & reaching out
  • Communications and promotion of event
  • Follow up post-event
